Jeremiah 13:14-16

14 I will (A)shatter them against each other, both the (B)fathers and the sons together,” declares Yahweh. “I will (C)not spare nor show pity nor have compassion so as not to ruin them.”’”

15 Listen and give ear, do not be (D)haughty,
For Yahweh has spoken.
16 (E)Give glory to Yahweh your God,
Before He brings (F)darkness
And before your (G)feet [a]stumble
On the dusky mountains;
And while you are hoping for light,
He makes it into the (H)shadow of death
And turns it into dense gloom.
